Brian has had few good days in a row. Friday and Friday night were uneventful. Saturday was a good day with improvement in his breathing. He continues to do his breathing exercises and they seem to be helping. The Drs are encouraging more aggressive breathing exercises and encourage him to get out of bed everyday. Today (Sunday) is by far the his best day yet. His lung sounds are good, and all day he has been on room air only without incident. Brian also was feeling good enough to go outside for the first time in the month that he has been here. We are still waiting on a date and time for him to move to Chicago.

Thank you so much for the updates. I know there are a lot of people that want to keep up to date on Brian's progress. It is wonderful to hear that he is improving. I don't know if he is being transferred to the Rehab Institute of Chicago but it is a WONDERFUL hospital. That is where my sister spent her rehab after her car accident 3 years ago. I hope Brian continues to progress and gets to come closer to home soon. Take care. We think of you all often.

Brian
You have been in my thoughts and prayers every day. I always knew you were a fighter even in high school. You sure made us all very proud of you. Continue to fight to get better every day knowing that there are so many people back here in Rochelle praying for you!!!! Tell your Dad hi and give yourselves both hugs from me.

Bless you,
Peggy Wagner
